Post-Yoga Chai Green Smoothie!

If you listen to my podcast, you’ve surely heard me mention that my relationship with yoga is a little…sad.

I mean, 10 times out of 10 I love how I feel after I take a class, it’s just that 9 times out of 10 I’d prefer to run or spin or do a HIIT workout than do warrior 2. God I hate warrior 2…

But doing more yoga is definitely one of my objectives for 2017 and I’m hoping that this post-yoga chai green smoothie can entice me a little bit!

I mean, this chai smoothie, completely creamy and flavorful with spices, dates, protein and spinach is THAT good that if I tell myself I only get it as a reward for completing a yoga class, there’s a good chance I’ll do the damn warrior 2’s for it! Really, it’s that good…

Post-Yoga Chai Green Smoothie!

Ingredients
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 large handful of kale or spinach
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Sunwarrior Protein Powder
  • 1 - 2 pitted medjool dates
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • the contents of 1 chai tea bag
  • ⅔ cups almond milk (or more if you like your smoothies more liquidy)
  • ½ - 1 tbsp almond butter
